    Una passeggiata per le vie di Verona alla riscoperta delle antiche botteghe.

    Partendo da Piazza Bra, cammineremo fino a Castelvecchio dove visiteremo l'omonima storica pasticceria. Marta e Michele ci accoglieranno mostrandoci i dolci tipici della tradizione Veronese. Proseguiremo poi verso Corso Cavour per arrivare a Porta Borsari. Percorrendo il corso guarderemo in alto alla ricerca della terrazza del Palazzo Melegatti, inventore del Pandoro, con i tipici Pandori in Pietra. Il profumo del pane, ci condurrà all'antico Panificio De Rossi. Dopo aver ammirato Piazza delle Erbe ci avvieremo verso la mia abitazione, non prima di esserci fermati all'Antica Bottega del Vino . Arrivati a casa prepareremo gli gnocchi , piatto tipico Veronese, da gustare con un calice di vino.

    Wonderful cooking experience with Michela, probably the best activity in our very busy week in Verona. Very much appreciated her kind hospitality and patience and the food we made was amazing. We have know hesitation in recommending this experience. Having never cooked before it exceeded all expectations. Just also to say what a wonderful person Michela is.

    We had an unforgettable experience with this cooking class in Verona! The Michaela went above and beyond to make our special occasion truly memorable, it was during our honeymoon. She was incredibly thoughtful in accommodating our dietary restrictions, which made the experience even more unique and personalized. The class began with a delightful food tour around the city—a perfect way to immerse ourselves in local flavors and culture. The cooking session itself was amazing; she’s a fantastic teacher—clear, patient, and passionate. On top of it all, she was extremely welcoming and friendly, and communication with her was effortless from the start. Highly recommend!

    The first time doing anything like this for me so wasn’t sure what to expect, pleasently surprise, Michaela was a fabulous hostess, she made us welcome from the very start , the food was wonderful and lots of handy hints and tips for us to use when back home .     I had a wonderful morning with Michela. She arrived promptly at the meeting point and greeted me warmly. She took me to a traditional patisserie near to the castle, which I wouldn't have found without her local knowledge. She took me to some other traditional Veronese food & drink establishments, explaining the city's history as we walked. After about an hour's tour of the city, we went to her apartment to make the gnocchi. She was very good at explaining and demonstrating each step, and it was easy to pick up the technique. It was a treat to sit at her table & eat together, while we talked more about Italian society & traditions. It was a very pleasant and insightful morning, and I have come away with new knowledge & skills. Very grateful: thank you Michela.

    Michela è veronese doc, vive da sempre a Verona, città d’arte e dell’amore. Il suo appartamento è a pochi passi da Piazza Brà, il salotto di Verona. Le colline con i suoi vigneti, il lago di Garda con gli ulivi secolari e i monti Lessini fanno da contorno ai monumenti di una città dagli scorci magici. La sua passione per la cucina è un retaggio di famiglia. Nonna Laura e mamma Bibi coinvolgevano nipoti e figli nella preparazione di pasta fresca lunga e corta, lasagne, tortellini e tortelli, secondi di carne con contorni e dolci. "In cucina cerco di trasmettere il valore della semplicità, ma nel contempo sono sempre pronta a sperimentare nuovi piatti, utilizzando principalmente i prodotti tipici del territorio veronese."
